MEET THE FOUNDER
Stephen King qualified from UL with 1st class honours degree in Maths teaching and subsequently received a Masters degree in Applied Mathematical Modelling.
Stephen had shown an aptitude for maths from a young age and was often seen giving his peers lessons during his own Leaving Cert years. Whilst undertaking his degree, Stephen would give tutorials to his own classmates on the more challenging materials, and his tutorials would often have higher attendance than the official lectures. This eventually led to Stephen setting up his own maths school in Limerick City, in an old schoolhouse named Leamy House, and he called it Leamy Maths.
