How a Leamy year works

One system, three parts. The class is the engine. Everything else makes sure the hour doesn't leak away by Thursday night.

01

The weekly class at Leamy House

Small group, one year-group, one level. Stephen teaches the topic the way the exam asks it: the method, the marking-scheme traps, and the questions that actually come up. Everyone leaves with a worksheet.

02

The worksheet method

Practice between classes is where the grade is built. The worksheets ladder from "I can start this" to full exam questions, so students always know what to do next, and Stephen sees exactly where each student is slipping.

03

AI Stephen: help at home their teacher stands over

Stuck at home on question 4? Students photograph where they got stuck and get help that answers the way Stephen answers, trained on the mistakes his students actually make, pointing back to his own lessons. It can't go off-script, and Stephen reviews what it's being asked every week. Included with September classes.

Taught by Stephen. Not a franchise.

Every weekly class is recorded, and past terms are sold as recorded packages in the shop: the classes Stephen taught week by week, with the worksheets and solutions that went with them. Pick your child's year group and level.

Questions parents ask

The ones that come up on nearly every phone call. Anything else, ring or text 085 846 6670.

When are the classes on?

Evenings at Leamy House, Hartstonge Street, during the school year. Classes run in blocks of 7 to 8 weeks that follow the school calendar. The September timetable is being finalised now: reserve a place below and you get first pick of slots when it is published.

What years and levels do you take?

Everything from 1st Year to 6th Year, including Transition Year. Each group is one year and one level, so a 5th Year Higher student is never sitting in a mixed room. Leaving Cert groups are capped at 8 students, Junior Cert groups at 6.

Higher or Ordinary: which should my child sit?

We teach both. If you are not sure which level is right, say so on the form or ring Stephen. Tell him the year, a recent result and how maths is going, and he will give you a straight answer. Nobody is signed up to anything on a phone call.

How much does it cost?

€35 per week per student, paid in blocks of 7 to 8 weeks (€245 to €280 per block). That includes the weekly class, all worksheets and worked solutions, and AI Stephen for help at home. Reserving a place costs nothing.

What happens if my child misses a week?

Every enrolled student also gets Stephen's online lesson library and AI Stephen at home, so a missed topic can be watched and practised before the next class. If your child will be out for a longer stretch, talk to Stephen.

We are not in Limerick. Can my child still learn with Stephen?

Yes, online. The same method is available as recorded courses: Stephen's lessons with the worksheets, full solutions and AI Stephen included. Start with the free lessons to see how he teaches.

How do we enrol?

Fill in the reserve form below. It takes about 30 seconds and costs nothing. Stephen will ring or email you to talk about where your child is at and which group fits, and you confirm the place when the September timetable is published. If you would rather talk first, ring or text 085 846 6670.
