Who we are
Leamy Maths is a maths tuition business run by Stephen King from Leamy House, Hartstonge Street, Limerick, Ireland. We teach classroom grinds in Limerick and online courses for students anywhere in Ireland.

What we collect
We collect information in a few places:
- Enquiry and reservation forms. Your name, phone number, email address, the student's year and level, and whatever you write in the message box. We use this to answer your enquiry and for nothing else.
- Student accounts. Name, email address and login details, which courses the account holds, and lesson progress. Where a student uses our homework or AI study tools, we also hold the work they submit, including photos of written work, and the questions they ask. Stephen uses this to see how each student is getting on.
- Purchases. A record of what was bought, when, and for how much. Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
- Emails. Your email address and preferences if you are on our mailing list, and whether our emails were opened. We use Brevo to send our emails.
- How you use the site. Standard analytics data such as pages visited, browser type and rough location, collected through cookies. See the cookies section below.
Why we use it
- To run your classes, courses and student account. This is necessary to provide what you paid for.
- To answer enquiries and sort out any problems.
- To improve the site and our courses by seeing how they are used.
- To send marketing emails, only where you have signed up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Cookies and advertising
The site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure how it is used, and conversion tracking for Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads. These set cookies. They help us see which pages work and whether our advertising is worth the money.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. It is seen only by the people who run Leamy Maths and the suppliers we use to run the service:
- Stripe for card payments.
- Brevo for sending email.
- Google and Meta for analytics and advertising measurement.
- Our hosting providers, who store the site and its data.
We may also share information where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
We store your information on secure servers, in the European Economic Area wherever possible. Some of our suppliers operate outside the EEA. Where that happens, transfers are covered by their standard contractual safeguards under GDPR.
How long we keep it
We keep account and purchase records while your account is active, and for as long as we need them afterwards for tax and accounting. Enquiries are kept only as long as it takes to deal with them. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Students under 18
Most of our students are under 18. We only use student information to run their classes and courses and to show parents how they are getting on. A parent or guardian can contact us about their child's information at any time.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us at any time to:
- show you the information we hold about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- delete it,
- stop using it for a particular purpose, or
- give you a copy to take elsewhere.
Email hello@leamymaths.ie and we will sort it. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version goes up on this page with a new date at the top.
