Who you are dealing with
Leamy Maths is a maths tuition business run by Stephen King from Leamy House, Hartstonge Street, Limerick, Ireland. Questions about these terms: hello@leamymaths.ie or 085 846 6670.
By booking a class, buying a course, or using a student account on leamymaths.ie, you agree to these terms.
Classroom classes in Limerick
- Weekly classes at Leamy House cost €35 per week per student, paid in blocks of 7 to 8 weeks that follow the school calendar.
- Reserving a place costs nothing. A place is confirmed when the block is paid for.
- If a class has to be cancelled on our side, it is rescheduled or the missed week is credited.
- Places are limited and groups are capped. When a group is full, it is full.
Online courses
- When you buy an online course you get access through your student account straight away.
- Course access lasts for 365 days from the date of purchase, unless the course page says otherwise.
- A course is for one student. Logins and videos must not be shared, and lesson videos must not be downloaded, copied or passed on. All course material is copyright Leamy Maths.
Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are shown in euro and include any applicable tax.
Refunds
Purchases of online courses are non-refundable. Because you get full access to the course material immediately, you agree that the usual 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases ends once access begins. If something has gone wrong with an order, such as being charged twice or buying the wrong course by mistake, contact us and we will put it right.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Irish and EU consumer law.
Student accounts
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per student. We may close accounts that are shared or misused.
- If you cannot get into your account, contact us and we will sort it.
Fair use of AI study tools
Where a course or class includes our AI study tools, they are for that student's own study. Do not use them for anything other than maths, and do not attempt to abuse or overload them. We keep a record of what the tools are asked so Stephen can see how students are getting on.
What we promise, and what we do not
We promise to teach properly, keep the site running, and fix problems quickly when they come up. We do not promise a particular exam grade. That depends on the student and the work they put in.
Short outages for maintenance can happen. If a fault on our side keeps you out of a course you paid for, tell us and we will extend your access to cover the time lost.
Changes and law
If we change these terms, the new version goes up on this page with a new date at the top. Changes do not apply backwards to purchases already made. These terms are governed by Irish law.
