Transition Year Maths

Leamy Maths announces its program for Transition Year students. Classes will begin September 19th.

This years cohort of Transition Year students have had a historically disrupted first few years of their secondary school experience. This disruption, along with the confusion regarding the Junior Cert results, has left some Transition Year students feeling completely underprepared for what they will face in the Leaving Cycle. Our Transition Year program will help fill the gaps and prepare for the Leaving Cert cycle.

This programme covers two objectives. The first is to revise over the most important elements of the Junior Cert curriculum, to ensure students are proficient in the basics. The second objective is to introduce concepts from the Leaving Certificate curriculum, to give the students a head start before they go into fifth year. Since the Maths Leaving Cert curriculum is very challenging and lessons generally progress rather quickly, this “head start” has allowed students to eventually settle into 5th year maths with a lot more confidence, knowing that they have the skills to tackle the course.

This program is available in Leamy House, Hartstonge Street, Limerick. To book a place, or for any further enquiries, please call Kate on 0858466670, or fill out the Contact Form below:
